MISSION STATEMENT
The Brucellosis Research Conference is composed of scientists who meet once a year to exchange information on basic and applied mechanisms of animal and human disease research related to brucellosis and its impact worldwide. This multidisciplinary forum brings together basic biology, genomics, immunology, disease prevention, diagnostics and pathogenic mechanisms looking at the diverse areas of Brucellosis research.
The meeting is held annually in Chicago, IL, in conjunction with the Conference of Research Workers in Animal Diseases (CRWAD). Every third year the meeting is hosted by another country and that international meeting focuses on the global impact of this isease. Veterinarians, microbiologists, clinicians, laboratory workers and basic researchers attend these
meetings along with regulatory officials. Attendance is by invitation only.
