Student Travel Awards

Twenty $500 grants are awarded by the CRWAD Executive Council for students presenting on any topic relevant to CRWAD, and two $500 grants are awarded to students presenting research related to Biosecurity or Biosafety.

  • Students currently enrolled in degree-seeking programs at a higher education institution are eligible to apply for Travel Grants if they are presenting research at the CRWAD Annual Conference.
  • Applications for travel awards are due by the first abstract submission deadline. Applicants must submit an abstract and a 500-word essay during the abstract submission process to explain how their research is of interest to the attendees of the CRWAD conference.

  • Awardees must attend CRWAD in person and present their work to receive travel grant funds.
